anyonyaśāpācca tayor vigate iva cetasī
jagmatuḥ śāpanāśāya brahmāṇaṃ jagataḥ patim //
They both became bereft of reason, as it were, through the curse of each other, and went to Brahmâ, the Lord of the Universe, to remedy the effects of the curses.—34.
