lalitāyai namo devyāḥ pādau gulphau tato 'rcayet
jaṅghāṃ jānuṃ tathā śāntyai tathaivoruṃ śriyai namaḥ //
The feet and the ankle should be worshipped, after reciting (1) ललितायै नमः “I salute the Goddess Lalitâ,” the legs and the knees, after pronouncing (2) शान्त्यै नमः Sántyai namaḥ the thighs, after reciting (3) श्रियै नमः “Sriyai namaḥ.”—4.
