ekāmapyuktavatkṛtvā tṛtīyāṃ vidhivannaraḥ
etāsāmapi sarvāsāṃ tṛtīyānāṃ phalaṃ bhavet //
One who keeps up, according to rules, this tritîyâ ordinance even once, begets the benefit of having observed all the tritîyas, and one who keeps a complete fast on this tritîyâ and worships Janârdana, gets the benefit of having performed a Râjasûya sacrifice, and attains bliss.—6-7.
