śuklavastrāṇi dattvā ca sahiraṇyāni śaktitaḥ
gāyatrīṃ pūjayedbhaktyā śuklamālyānulepanaiḥ //
According to his means, the devotee should give away gold and cloth in charity, and should then worship Gâyatrî with garlands of white flowers, and with white sandal, &c.—6.
