*sūrya uvāca
alaṃ kleśena mahatā putrastava narādhipa
bhaviṣyati ciraṃjīvī kiṃtu kalmaṣanāśanam //

The God-Sun will say: "King Kritavîrya! I am very much pleased with your devotion and penances: there is no further need of them. I bless you that this son of yours will be long-lived."—13.
