snātaḥ purā maṇḍalameṣa tadvat tejomayaṃ vedaśarīramāpa
asyāṃ ca kalyāṇatithau vivasvān sahasradhāreṇa sahasraraśmiḥ //
The Sun also on account of having bathed in a thousand torrents on the Kalyâṇadwâdaśî, got His shining body, surrounded by halos, and has become the thousand-rayed Vivasvan.—61.
