kalikaluṣavidāriṇīmanantām iti kathayiṣyati yādavendrasūnuḥ
api narakagatānpitṝn aśeṣān alamuddhartumihaiva yaḥ karoti //
Kṛiṣṇa, the King of Yâdavas, will describe this tithi which, when observed, dispels all the sins of the iron (Kali) age, and liberates all his manes from the region of Yama, (Naraka).—63.
