evaṃ trayodaśaṃ yāvan māsamevaṃ dvijottamān
tarpayeta yathākāmaṃ proṣite 'nyaṃ samācaret //
In this way, the good Brâhmaṇas should be kept satisfied for a period of thirteen months; but if they go abroad, their course of action will be different.—57.
