tatropaviśya dāmpatyam alaṃkṛtya vidhānataḥ
patnyāstu bhājanaṃ dadyād bhakṣyabhojyasamanvitam //

At the time of giving away the bedstead, the Brâhmaṇa, along with his wife, should be seated on it, and the former should be given a vessel, full of nice eatables.—15.
