ādāvante ca madhye ca namo 'stu paramātmane
mantrairebhiḥ samabhyarcya namaskārāntadīpitaiḥ //

At the commencement, as well as at the end, and so also in the middle, of placing rice, he should recite the Mantra Paramât-mane namaḥ. Then at the end, the God-Sun should be saluted.—10.
