76.4

bhaktyā tu viprānsampūjya cāṣṭamyāṃ kṣīrabhojanam
dattvā kuryātphalayutaṃ yāvatsyātkṛṣṇesaptamī //

On the following day, that is, on Aṣṭamî, the Brâhmaṇas should be worshipped with devotion and fed with milk and fruits; during that period of the day, so long as there is any portion of the Kṛiṣṇa Saptamî remaining, and on every seventh day of the dark fortnight, fruits should be given away in charity.—4.
