viṣṇudehasamudbhūtaṃ yasmādārogyavardhanam
tasmātparvatarūpeṇa pāhi saṃsārasāgarāt //
‘The salt that has sprung from the body of Viṣṇu is the giver of health. Therefore, O Salt in the shape of a mountain, carry me through the mundane ocean of troubles in peace.’—8.
