manvantaraṃ caturthaṃ tu tāmasaṃ nāma viśrutam
kaviḥ pṛthus tathaivāgnir akapiḥ kapireva ca //
In the fourth Manvantara, which was called Tâmasa, the seven Ṛiṣis were :—Kavi, Pṛithu, Agni, Akapi, Kapi, Jalpa, and Dhîmâna; and the group of Devas were known by the name of Sâdhya”.—15-16.
