na vāpyalpadhanaḥ kuryāl lakṣahomaṃ naraḥ kvacit
yasmātpīḍākaro nityaṃ yajñe bhavati vigrahaḥ //

A man in narrow circumstances should never perform a sacrifice of a lac of offerings, for the spending of even a small fortune in that case leads to disease and distress.—112.
