Really good Brâhmaṇas should be invited and well-fed, after which curd mixed with clarified butter, saved from the sacrificial offerings, should be taken by the devotee, who should sleep on the ground, with his head towards the north. On the full moon-day, he should feed the Brâhmaṇas and then take his own meals in silence. Similarly, he should do on the fourteenth day of the dark fortnight.—15-16.
