iti paṭhati śṛṇoti vātha bhaktyā vidhimakhilaṃ ravisaṃkramasya puṇyam
matimapi ca dadāti so 'pi devair amarapaterbhavane prapūjyate ca //

One who reads about this Sûrya Saṅkrânti with devotion, or hears or advises others to read it, is honoured by the Devas in the realm of Indra.—15.
