Thus ends the one hundred and seventieth chapter, titled 'Description of the Impalement of Māṇḍavya', in the Revākhaṇḍa of the fifth [part, the] Āvantyakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa, a collection of eighty-one thousand [verses].
