ūcuste tu samūhena brāhmaṇāṃstapasi sthitān .
asmākaṃ svāminaḥ sarve tiṣṭhante tīrthamadhyataḥ .
te prasthāpyā mahābhāgāḥ sarvathaiva tvarānvitāḥ .. 60.22 ..

They in a group spoke to the brahmins engaged in austerity: / 'All of our masters are staying within the sacred ford. / Those highly fortunate ones must be dispatched at once with all haste.' 60.22
