tataḥ praṇamya hṛṣṭātmā brahmā lokapitāmahaḥ .
hastaṃ devasya devyāśca163 yogabandhe yuyoja ha .. 142. .

śrutigītairmahāmantrairmūrtimadbhirupasthitaiḥ . . 143 ..

Then Brahmā, the grandfather of the worlds, delighted in mind, bowed down / and joined the hand of the god and of the goddess in the bond of union. / And the Fire himself stood there with joined palms, / attending alongside the great mantras chanted in the Vedic texts, manifested in bodily forms.
