tataḥ sa bhagavān devastathaiva vikṛtaḥ prabhuḥ .
uvāca śailarājaṃ tamumā8 me yaccha śailapa9 ..8.12.1

Then that blessed god, the lord, deformed just in that way,
said to that king of mountains: “O protector of the mountain, give me Umā.”
