vasiṣṭhena kapiñjalyāmindrapramatireva ca .
śilādojanayaccaiva tapasā nandinaṃ sutam ..41 . .
tathā bhavānapi tapaḥ karotu susamādhinā .
lapsyase tvaṃ sutaṃ śreṣṭhaṃ mahāyogabalānvitam ..42..

And Indrapramati [was obtained] by Vasiṣṭha upon Kapiñjalā; / and Śilāda begat his son Nandin solely through austerity. / So may you also perform austerity with complete concentration; / you will obtain an excellent son endowed with the power of great yoga.
