iti śrīskānde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ prathame māheśvarakhaṇḍe'ruṇācalamāhātmya uttarārdhe vajrāṃgadasadgativarṇanaṃnāma caturviṃśatitamo'dhyāyaḥ .. 24 ..

Thus ends the twenty-fourth chapter, entitled "Description of the Good Destiny of Vajrāṅgada," in the latter half of the Aruṇācalamāhātmya in the first [section], the Māheśvarakhaṇḍa, of the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa, a collection of eighty-one thousand [verses]. (24)
