ye dīrghadarśino maṃdā mūḍhā dharmabahiṣkṛtāḥ..
akalpāḥ kāryasiddhyarthaṃ yatkurvaṃti ca niṣphalam..
tatsarvaṃ viddhi deveṃdra manasā saṃpradhāryatām.. 17.169 ..

Those fools and dullards who see far ahead, cast out from righteousness, / who are incapable of accomplishing their purpose and whose actions are fruitless— / know all of that, O lord of gods; let it be carefully considered in your mind.
