liṃgeśaiśca tathā sarvaiḥ pūrṇamāsījjagattrayam..
tathā ca vīrabhadrāṃśāḥ pūjārthamamaraiḥ kṛtāḥ.. 7.36
tatra viṃśatisaṃskārāsteṣāmaṣṭādhikābhavan..
kathitāḥ śaṃkareṇaiva liṃgasyācanasūcakāḥ.. 7.37 ..

And with all these lords of liṅgas, the three worlds became full. / And partial incarnations of Vīrabhadra were made by the immortals for the sake of worship. / There twenty-eight consecrations were proclaimed by Śaṃkara himself, / Indicating the worship of the liṅga.
