Thus ends the thirty-fourth chapter, entitled 'The Description of the Māhātmya Preceding the Installation of Kumāreśa', in the Kaumārikākhaṇḍa of the first section, the Māheśvarakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa, a collection of eighty-one thousand [verses].
