Thus ends the thirty-seventh chapter, entitled 'Description of the Situation of the Earth,' in the Kumārikākhaṇḍa of the first section, the Māheśvarakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa of eighty-one thousand verses.
