..nara uvāca..
atimūrkhosi vipra tvaṃ prajñāvādāṃśca bhāṣase..
kiṃ na śrutastvayā ślokaḥ purāvidbhirudīritaḥ..
kūponyasya ghaṭo'nyasya rajjuranyasya bhārata.. 40.87 ..

The man said:
You are extremely foolish, O brahmin, yet you speak words of wisdom!
Have you not heard the verse uttered by those who know the past:
‘The well belongs to one, the pot to another, the rope to another, O descendant of Bharata;
