devārcanaṃ ca pūrvāhṇe kāryāṇyāhurmaharṣayaḥ..
pālāśamāsanaṃ caiva pāduke daṃtadhāvanam..
varjayedāsanaṃ caiva padā nākarṣayedbudhaḥ.. 41.125 ..

and worship of the gods in the forenoon are duties, the great seers have said. / A seat of palāśa wood, wooden sandals, and a tooth-twig [of it] / one should avoid; and a wise man should not drag a seat with his foot.
