..ityarghyadānavidhiḥ..
ya evaṃ bhāskarāyārghyaṃ mūrtau maṃḍalake'pi vā..
nityaṃ nivedayetprātaḥ syādraverātmavatpriyaḥ.. 43.73 ..

Thus is the rule for offering the arghya water-oblation. / He who, in this manner, offers the arghya water-oblation to the Sun daily in the morning, either in an image or in a maṇḍala, / becomes as dear to the sun as his own self.
