Thus ends the forty-seventh chapter, entitled “Description of the Tale of the Holy Goddess,” in the Kaumārikākhaṇḍa of the first section, the Māheśvarakhaṇḍa, in the holy Skanda Mahāpurāṇa consisting of eighty-one thousand verses.
