Thus ends the first chapter, named "The Deliverance of the Five Apsarases by the Son of Pṛthā," in the Kaumārikākhaṇḍa of the first [section], the Māheśvarakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa consisting of eighty-one thousand verses.
