kanyāgate ravau tatra yaḥ śrāddhaṃ kurute naraḥ ..
gayāśīrṣasamaṃ tasya puṇyamāhurmaharṣayaḥ .. 14 ..

When the sun has entered the sign of Virgo, whatever person performs an ancestral rite there, / the great seers say his merit is equal to [that of performing it at] Gayāśīrṣa. 14.
