.. samudra uvāca .. ..
yadāha devi devarṣirnatvā tvāṃ satyameva tat ..
gīyase tvaṃ hi vedeṣu nityaṃ viṣṇuḥ sahāyinī .. 33 ..

The Ocean said:
What the celestial seer has said, having bowed to you, O goddess, is entirely true; / for you are sung in the Vedas as the eternal companion of Viṣṇu.
