atha viṣṇupadīṃ devīṃ śrutvā sāgarasaṃgatām ..
itastataḥ samājagmuḥ śraddadhānāḥ payasvinīm ..47..

Then, hearing of that divine river flowing from the foot of Viṣṇu, joined to the ocean, / devout people came from here and there to that milk-sweet stream.
