bhaktyā snātvā tu tatraivaṃ kuryātkarma yathoditam..
devānpitṝnmanuṣyāṃśca tarpayedbhāvasaṃyutaḥ .. 14 ..
Having bathed there with devotion in this manner, one should perform the prescribed rites; / filled with pious feeling, one should offer water to the gods, the ancestors, and men.
