māghasnāne ca sā proktā gomatyāṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ ..
sarvadānaphalaṃ tasya sarva tīrthaphalaṃ tathā .. 47 ..
that same destiny is declared for one who bathes in the Gomatī in Māgha; there is no doubt about this; / his is the fruit of all gifts, and likewise the fruit of all sacred fords.
