ṛgyajuḥ sāmajāpyāni saṃhitādhyayanāni ca ..
kriyate brahmāṇamuddiśya sā bhaktirvedikocyate .. 13 ..
the Iṣṭi sacrifice, the Dhṛti libation, the drinking of Soma, every kind of sacrificial act, / the silent recitation of the Ṛg, Yajur, and Sāma Vedas, and the recitation of the Saṃhitās— / [when] performed directed toward Brahmā, that is called Vedic devotion.
