evameva pitṝṇāṃ ca āgamya sve ca mandire ..
piṇḍapradānapūrvaṃ tu śrāddhaṃ kṛtvā vidhānataḥ ..
pitarastasya tuṣṭā vai bhavanti brahmaṇo dinam ..123..

In this very manner, having returned to one's own house, / and having performed the śrāddha for the ancestors preceded by the offering of piṇḍas according to the rule, / his ancestors indeed remain satisfied for a day of Brahmā. // 123
