yajñairiṣṭo hi devendro yathā svargapradaḥ smṛtaḥ ..
śuddhikartṛ yathā toyaṃ mṛttikābhasmasaṃyutam ..
dahanātmā yathā vahnirvighnaharttā gaṇeśvaraḥ .. 17 ..

Just as the king of gods, worshipped with sacrifices, is remembered as the bestower of heaven; / just as water combined with clay and ash is a purifier; / just as fire has burning for its nature, and Gaṇeśvara removes obstacles;
