pālāśaṃ pātramādāya cchinnadagdhaprarohaṇam ..
dogdhā tu puṣpitaḥ śālaḥ plakṣo vatso yaśasvini ..
sarvakāmadughā dogdhā pṛthivī bhūtabhāvinī .. 168 ..

taking a vessel of palāśa wood, [they milked] sprouting when cut and burnt. / The flowering śāla tree was the milker, and the plakṣa was the calf, O illustrious one. / The earth, source of living beings, was milked yielding all desires.
