ahorātrekṣaṇaparo vedāṃgaśrutibhūṣaṇaḥ ..
ājyanāsaḥ sruvatuṇḍaḥ sāmaghoṣasvano mahān .. 21 ..

Īśvara said: / having day and night for his supreme eyes, adorned with the limbs of the Vedas and the śruti, / with ghee for his snout, the sruva-ladle for his mouth, having the great sound of the Sāmaveda chant;
