vārāhaṃ rūpamāsthāya daṃṣṭrāgreṇa varānane ..
utkṣipya dharaṇīṃ mūrdhnā svasthāne saṃnyaveśayat .. 3..

seeing the earth gone down to Rasātala, Lord Janārdana, / having assumed the form of a boar, O fair-faced lady, / having lifted the earth on his head with the tip of his tusk, established it in its proper place. (3)
