Thus ends the forty-ninth chapter, entitled “Description of the Māhātmya of Śanaiścareśvara,” in the first Prabhāsakṣetramāhātmya of the seventh Prabhāsakhaṇḍa in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa, a collection of eighty-one thousand [verses]. 49
