koṭiyajñaphalaṃ snāne prācyāṃ liṃgasya pūjane .. 25 ..

The god Lord Śaṃkara was pleased with the liṅga by Vāsava’s boon: / the fruit of a crore of sacrifices [is gained] through ritual ablution in the eastward-flowing [stream] and worship of the liṅga.
