iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ saptame prabhāsakhaṃḍe prathame prabhāsakṣetramāhātmye jalavāsagaṇapatimāhātmyavarṇanaṃnāma dvisaptatitamo'dhyāyaḥ .. 72 ..

Thus ends the seventy-second chapter, named 'The Description of the Māhātmya of Jalavāsa-Gaṇapati,' in the first [part], the Prabhāsakṣetramāhātmya, in the seventh [section], the Prabhāsakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa containing eighty-one thousand verses.
