vijñāya baddhaṃ puruṣaṃ pradhānaiḥ sa sarvatīrthāni karoti deham .. 7.2.12.10 ..
Having reflected upon the various defects of saṃsāra, freed from attachment even toward wife, sons, and friends, / and knowing the soul to be bound by the primary elements, he turns his very body into all the sacred fords.
