gurave dakṣiṇā deyābrāhmaṇebhyaḥ svaśaktitaḥ ..
evaṃ kṛtvā tato deyaṃ tapasvibhyo'tha bhojanam ..
miṣṭānnaṃ vividhaṃ dattvā kṣamāpya ca visarjayet .. 7.2.16.130 ..

A sacrificial fee should be given to the guru, and to the brahmins according to one's ability. / Having done this, food should then be given to the ascetics; / having given various sweet dishes and asked their forgiveness, one should dismiss them.
