2.2.12.114
mayi cetpratikūlastvaṃ bhaviṣyati ca niṣprabham .. 55 ..
if you turn against me, however, it shall become devoid of luster.’
2.2.12.115
ghore pāśupate cāsminnastre ca viphalīkṛte ..

I was created from tamas, O Lord, ignorant of your majesty.
2.2.12.132

an ocean of compassion possessing a charming body like a dark raincloud.
2.2.12.140
krodhāviṣṭa ivovāca bibhyataṃ girijāpatim .. 68 ..
As if possessed by anger, he spoke to the trembling lord of Girijā:
2.2.12.141
.. śrībhagavānuvāca .. ..
The Blessed Lord said:
2.2.12.142
kālenaitāvatā śaṃbho durbuddhiḥ kathamāgatā ..
O Śambhu, after so much time, how has this bad judgment come upon you,
2.2.12.143

True, your Pāśupata weapon is invincible to gods and asuras together;
2.2.12.146
matkrodharūpaṃ taccakraṃ tvāmapi kṣamate na yat ..
yet that discus is the form of my anger, which does not spare even you.
2.2.12.147
