iti śrīskānde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ dvitīye vaiṣṇavakhaṇḍe kārtikamāsamāhātmye kārtikasnānavidhinirūpaṇaṃnāma caturtho'dhyāyaḥ .. 4

Thus ends the fourth chapter, named 'Description of the Rules for the Kārtika Bath' in the glorification of the month of Kārtika, in the second section, the Vaiṣṇavakhaṇḍa, of the glorious Skandapurāṇa consisting of eighty-one thousand verses. 4
