iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ tṛtīye brahmakhaṇḍe setumāhātmye dhanuṣkoṭipraśaṃsāyāṃ sṛgālavānaravimokṣaṇavarṇanaṃnāma paṃcatriṃśo'dhyāyaḥ .. 35 ..

Thus ends the thirty-fifth chapter, named 'Description of the Liberation of the Jackal and the Monkey' in the praise of Dhanuṣkoṭi, in the Setumāhātmya, in the third Brahmakhaṇḍa, in the glorious Skanda Mahāpurāṇa containing eighty-one thousand verses.
